By Nikolina of Pacific Knot Co
The Adera Boho Coaster is a crochet pattern written by my good friend, Nikolina. We have been knitting friends on Instagram for a few years now, and I’m so excited to have her as a guest designer on my blog! I hope you enjoy the pattern, and will leave her a comment at the bottom. If you’d like an ad-free, printer friendly PDF copy of this pattern, it is also available on Ravelry. Happy crocheting!
Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Nikolina! I have been knitting for 5 years but learned to knit as a kid. Knitting has always run in my family. My grandma knit clothes for her kids and herself and I was lucky enough to have some of her garments handed down to me! I work full time for the Municipal government in Canada, am a mom of two, and run Pacific Knot on the side! I started to really delve into designing garments during quarantine. I started off with Free Pattern Friday because I wanted to give back to the community during a very hard and trying time but I also wanted to test the waters into the design world. Since then, I have released over 30 designs and work as a freelance designer with Lion Brand Yarn!

Fringe
Turn your coaster onto the wrong side. Cut two strands of yarn approx. 4″ / 10 cm long.
Insert hook into any chain st along the edge of the coaster. Hold the ends of the yarn together and place the loop over the crochet hook. Pull the hook with the yarn through, grab the ends of the yarn and pull the ends through the loop. Pull tightly to secure.
Repeat for each chain st all around the coaster.
Trim the fringe and comb out to unravel and separate the strands. Trim around again to even out the fringe!
