Knitted tank patterns to add to your summer wardrobe

Summer is almost here and I have noticed sooo many beautiful tank patterns to knit this year! I made a list of some of my favorites and wanted to share them with you if you’re needing some inspiration for your handmade wardrobe this summer. There is a link for each pattern on Ravelry if you click on the pattern name. Some designers have graciously given me permission to share a photo of their pattern in this post, but if you don’t see one there are many photos on Ravelry to browse! Let me know in the comments if you have made, or are planning to make any of these cute tops.

Happy knitting!

Dandelion Top by The Knit Yorker is a cute, high neck tank with sweet details on the bottom. Read more about the pattern on Magali’s blog by clicking here! It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Freya Top is a pretty and lightweight tank by Nalu Knits. I love the lace details on the front! It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Soho Top by Caidree is a very clean and classic style tank that I am currently working on for myself. I like that I will be able to wear a bra with it ha! I am using sock yarn from Sewrella Yarn and holding it double. You can use worsted weight yarn (or possibly DK) instead.

Queens Cami by Tori Yu is a lovely, feminine tank that I definitely plan to knit for myself this year! I love the full coverage straps and flowy body. It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Oolong Tank by Aimee Sher is another gorgeous tank with lacework on the front. It has wider shoulders so it looks really nice worn over a shirt like a vest as well. It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Chasing Bubbles Top is my own design and a great one if you like bobbles! It is designed with DK weight yarn.

Home Camisole by Caidree is a simple tank design with a pretty v-neck and icord edging. It is designed with DK weight yarn.

Adriata Top by Joji Locatelli with really pretty and unique lacework down the sides. It is designed with DK weight yarn.

Ridge Tank by Bluebird Pine Shop is another tank that I would like to make for myself. I love the high neckline and simple texture. It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Galax by Andrea Gaughan is another beautiful lacework tank. I love the matching lace design on the back. It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Poet Top by Sari Nordlund is a gorgeous tank I saw on Instagram recently that is all lacework and absolutely stunning. It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

June Top by Petite Knit is a simple and feminine tank. I like the deep neckline in the back. It is designed with DK weight yarn but there is a fingering version available as well.

As Friends Tank by Jessie Maed Designs is super cute and can be modified to make any length. It is designed with sport weight yarn.

Outline Tank, also by Jessie Maed Designs, is a super popular tank that you may have seen before. It has a fun feature where you unravel stitches at the end. It is designed with fingering weight yarn.

Pillars Tank by Perfectly Knotted is a sleek and simple tank for a classy look. I love the long lines of ribbing. It is designed with DK weight yarn.
